Great to have you with me. Thanks so much for being here. I know you have a choice in where you can listen each and every day, and I think you were even attuned here to check generation rate you were. No topic is off-limits and everything filtered through biblical glasses and find the camera that wants to turn on this morning. No, it doesn't it doesn't appear that any of those won't work for me so they are on, but they are not coming through okay well that's nice. So let's do this to figure out where where they turned on Hank's eye. I've got my guess you can see my lovely cast CC O'Leary is with us. I got a great program lined up for you today. Matt Long and I are going to talk about. There's a lot of buzz in the church will it's the end of time.

So you know, just go hunker down in your house and don't worry about anything and let the world all go to hell in a hand basket.

I don't think so. I am we'll talk about that in our precursor that actually is going to be talking with Ken Thornburg are our expert on me. See me try that and see if that works. He is our expert when it comes to spiritual warfare and will be talking with him today about sexual sin and and working to talk. Also in our second segment about the UN's push for abortion digit did you see that the UN is pushing for four more abortions so will will talk about that.

It doesn't surprise me when you stop and think about the fact that we have here in the United States began to move away from that. Guess it's not really a a huge surprise that that somebody like the UN is trying to say no.

We we want more of those. At any rate, we'll get into that coming up. Let's see what else do we have coming up for you today. Also, Pastor David Lowery is with us. He has his own program now on CEC NCV talk with him about some of the things that he's sharing on his program and that and issues that are going on within the black community, but let me get started by welcoming CC O'Leary of the Southeastern legal foundation CC welcome good to have you there. Well I'm I'm very pleased to have you and I thank you for joining us today I and and and an important topic. Yesterday I had on Callie fell and she is with the Center for bioethics and culture and we talked about their new documentary about Dee transitioning and this assault on on young girls causing them to question their sexual orientation and then go through horrific things the Chloe Cole story is one that a lot of people are becoming familiar with and and then we have the assaults on women in sports because you know were going to have men and I just saw on one of my social feeds.

A guy dressed in a gown who one homecoming queen.

This is the kind of stuff that's happening on our campuses.

You guys are focusing in on this relative to title IX and new rules in that and the impact on women on college campuses talk to me about what you all are saying. I mean, I think that had Year at Dragon Anywhere in her graduating high school during a pandemic or had entered college and now I'm back to work. They could play Alabama out on a lot of build important special activity and about the bank. They could tell the bell when it comes to title IX by Paul that they can't email gender, people die, they can't hold. Believe about the man and woman and licking the same thing when it comes to be content at college and I'm thinking that an alarming rate and that are competitive and libertarian in particular are having a tough time they want about my being told that it be hoped that the date they could be recorded by my camp I think would be punished because that so so this is an issue rose to two free speech and and what someone can say on campus. How does title IX play a role in the in the free-speech rattlers are these two different issues that change in title IX and now you have to recognize that Lincoln divided there any gender, and though it may not come then the plan college campus said that colleges will now tell that they have to report whatever gender there. They are, and I cannot believe that there are biological different between a man and one thing that I Bowling Green. They have a biased reporting that which we immediately got a letter to Bowling Green about paying back the unconstitutional by alert college authority. The fact that medical pack are no longer gender incomplete. The outdated term where they were in bed nine biological different than between men and women don't like their reporting client administrator coming from everywhere in the other transgender debate on even their textbooks are not safe from the Drilling becoming alarming and really going and create change in the title IX. So what is it that can be title IX now that is that is a federal issue correct that something's down on on the federal level. So who can impact then who who makes the decisions.

Who is this change, the title IX and and and how did they go about making those adjustments are those changes that we wanted to make an online and title IX with the protect. When I allow women more opportunity for sure that they have equal opportunity content that embedded in a chamber member and crop that everyone is allowed to comment publicly on the topic foundation permit public comment comment paying their unconstitutional planning and changing not only not protecting women were an ideology on young people and not unconstitutional. And so now the public comment time is is over and over and being with over 200,000 comment that I will call and each and every comment and on all that remained comment that we would like a map of the mountain and out again that comment and we really going so well so right now the concern is mean, obviously there's already been there's been the suppression of freedom of speech. There is a yummy we seen and I know Charlie churches came out with a book talking about you know his experiences of what CP USA has been watching happen on campuses we've seen conservative speakers protested runoff campus threats made that were that were extreme enough that the colleges decided to withdraw the invitation things of that nature. So were seeing that kind of censorship.

Michael rectum wall that I think just came out with a book and if I'm not mistaken he just did a pretty big interview on Hannity. I think it was. I'm trying to remember. He but he was just a just did a big interview and he's just come out with a big book talking about this season of course of a college professor so relative to this. I mean, you're kind of are we are we are we scratching the surface. Are we are we behind the glaciers so to speak, trying that you know trying to melt the ice.

Where do you think we are relative to know positionally because I mean I know I could keep going on and I apologize but you know your your young person who came through the college system. You saw it firsthand. Going through free lawn, then going through law school. All the things that you had to experience the hurdles that you personally had to overcome so that you didn't get sucked into it because it's it's like a frog in water it so subtle it saturates you and before you know what you're thinking like they think without realizing that that's either thinking really right.

I mean, I've been caught long ago and already I cannot and being changed into their family payment become more alarming and more graphic by patient and often on anything concrete everything coming from off by coming from there to have an ideology that they want and coming from administrator through our little baby they're trying to shelter ground.

I start or they want to go through all the hurdles that they need prior approval before they can have it come to camp at rubber payment pack come from other classmates don't like what you think about or government official to have a lot of authority to deny events on campus a lot of power on their way it coming from all five. Unfortunately, having a tough time right now, but they do have write about when it comes to financial institutions think about the big room that took place over the weekend regarding PayPal, suggesting that they were going to start finding people with accounts up to $2500 because they deemed that somehow met the threshold of the amount of cortical damages.

They believe that they would suffer based on an arbitrary sense of basically limiting and and and taking away an individual's freedom of speech, freedom of religion all in any of those kinds of First Amendment rights. Where you can have a whole agreement with someone that everyone is trying to protect and found my idea. But they don't like anything it done on campus and probably more than anywhere out.

Like I mentioned colleges maintained by it when they say by anything being crazy to report that he made a joke, and and 130 authority to launch an investigation peeking out and sharing all chilling effect happening on college sympathetic and caring for a quick break will be back with more CCO Larry Southeastern legal foundation were talking about this oppression of free speech by natural going to shoot a product. Again my guests CCO Larry Southeastern legal foundation you know when when you think about this and you think about the sensitivity issues big. There was a big story out this morning Troy Aikman last night was was commenting about the penalties on quarterbacks and I'm I'm not. I actually have a boycott the NFL thing and I'm I mean I'm not I'm not supporting the NFL, but I just thought this was interesting because I'm 60 some kind of old school when it comes to you know hits and what have you legal hits not helmet on helmet not not try to kill the other great.

But you know anyway so he's talking about how dainty their being now and how kind of ridiculous, or being about protecting the quarterback so to speak, and he made the comment. He said you know the rules committee needs to take the dresses off now. I interpret that is he saying take the dresses off the quarterback not not the rule committee take your dresses off with the take the dress off the quarterback let the quarterback be the quarterback play the game and you know just plain better schemes and do a better job protecting your quarterback so that he doesn't get hit. I mean hello, you know, that's why they have an offense of line that's their job. Okay, they're not going to do their job because back to this whole thing of you know well you know what were just all going to get participation trophies right yeah and I think that happening like a starting paper 12 player that by the time you are graduating playing in the now. They think that they think that you not be expected to be used that are different from the around and that when they are only faith that the view that maybe they don't like or maybe I challenge them to believe they don't know how to handle it there.

I think your point.

Where were ultimately getting there that were just contributing to the temple culture and filing thing and were urging them to report each other-88 and it seems to me cc that that were canceling out men you know, here we have on one side right. They want to take all the girls they want to cut them up and turn them into men. They want men competing against women in women's sports because somehow that's fair, but actual men actual, real, live, honest to God men know you can't you can't you can't talk like a man, you can't. You know you can't be a man, you can't. You can't, you know being charged.

You can't leave the company. Your you're not supposed to. Men are supposed to be in those positions because that's misogynistic, and so on and so on and so on and so on.

They they want to flip culture upside down and and and then attack anybody that says anything about my goal and make everybody think like one act like one look like one ever not be individual anymore and not. Problem now going back to college really meant to be the marketplace that I did very challenging delete it so important to protect college right in the treatment as well as title IX with red and black of night. But there are biological different bed in human and we should celebrate that rather than try Thailand and make everybody think like one line. Title IX also has been used somewhat as a weapon or westernized against male students because it is it is allowed for and I know that Michelle Owens is been on the program is been a great advocate for you know guys that have been falsely accused of things again. It it it it kind of all roles together. It really kind of all roles together and and I'm so glad that y'all are taking up this campus fight in this campus battle. Now back to a chosen generation with pastor Grace and William exits and generation radio were no topic is off limits and everything filtered through biblical glasses and it is my set your sincere pleasure to welcome back to the program Dr. Rebecca Lewis and we are here talking about just such a critically important subject and she is the director of research for the Center for family and human rights. And you know we had a Supreme Court that decided that substantive due process was not a true legal position. Clarence Thomas took that a step further along with the 54 vote to say that Roe V Wade should be overturned and the decision sent back to the states and so now what we see we see the UN has decided to take up the cause of of killing babies. I and doesn't make sense to me. Dr. was explained to me what is the UN doing in and and and you can you can you apply the logic to this well you and it's important to recognize that there is a couple different things were talking about right there.

There is the actual United Nations.

The nations of the world coming together to dialogue and tax. That's what happens in the general assembly world leader.

Their representatives actually debate these issues with our own government.

There's a lot of agencies there's a lot of bureaucracy on you think about things like the World Health Organization and the United Nations population fund UNICEF in all of these are agencies which authentically get their mandates from the member states, but we've seen increasingly are lying to themselves and so the UN Gen. assembly.

Documents are usually negotiated and adopted by consensus.

Now that of the gold standard and there are some countries, especially in the European Union and in the last depending on Yahoo's president sometimes if the United States is well pushing hard to make abortion international human rights on how to redefine the family and ambiguous terms and and all of these other radical agendas that we see here at home as well. Other countries that oppose this, and there has never been consensus on any of these issues you now back in the 1990s there was a big push to try and create an international human rights, abortion fails and it has been attempted and failed as a matter consensus for decades now remains a very controversial issue.

Sometimes stations will go late late into the night and it will be these paragraph include this language that are the ones that are at issue, so when general assembly. You know there's a lot of a lot of controversy and and certainly not a consensus position. But what we've seen is apart from not working in bureaucracies in the various agencies. The World Health Organization in particular has been extremely aggressive in promoting liberalization of abortion laws around the world. The removal of conscience protections for health workers. The idea that no restrictions on abortion at all should be kept in place and of course they can't force any nation to change their loss in their sovereign, but they are influential in the medical field within governments spend so we have to remember to remind people constantly.

There is no international human right to abortion.

These agencies do not have a mandate to do this and it's important that they be held accountable. It's just, you know, no absolute well and and you know you go to the redefining of family. As an example as well. The UN is is at the front end of of redefining what family will look like and and what what viable. I guess there really coming right down to deciding they're going to tell us what a viable life is like, and these are issues that are still within countries, as well as between countries is worth noting that one of the founding documents of the UN Universal declaration of human rights section on family and it says basically that the family is the natural and fundamental unit of society and entitled to protection from society and from the state. You know that's pretty clear you know the not every nation is ratified the Rome statute is an international court talks about gender as you referring to men and women in the context of society pretty good definition are good negotiated definitions of some of these things and the terms reproductive health and reproductive rights first emerged into UN speak in the 1990s they were defined as not including right to abortion that abortion must be left up to national governments to determine its legality and so there are actually agreements on some of these things that may not be everything we might wish for. But there certainly by what we see is a lot of agencies and a lot of wealthy donor countries just ignoring the consensus and and trying to push for more radical agenda you talked about some of these independent agencies or entities. It reminds me a lot about of of of the administrative state that we deal with here in the United States right where you have these rogue independent agencies using what was referred to as Chevron doctrine to basically operate independent of any oversight is that in a manner of speaking, what what you're seeing as you look at the UN structure. Your analogy is very good. Another one interesting is that there are these major human rights treaties with you. And now that the US is ratified.

Some of them but there UN human rights treaties, and when you have one of these treaties you enter into dialogue with a tree body, which is an expert group that basically is supposed to help you to comply with the treaty and give you suggestions guidance on how better to do that and the text of the treaty is binding on your nation. If you ratify the communications of the treaty bodies are nonbinding and what we've seen in the last several decades is that these treaty bodies have acted in some ways like a rogue court in reading things between the lines of the trees that are not there. Much the way the same way as our Supreme Court found a right to abortion.

You know within a right to privacy, which had been run into between the lines is another thing that we see the land where no biases that that that members may particularly hold that don't have anything to do.

In other words, they they couldn't get what they wanted in the language of the treaty so they got themselves onto the governing body.

If you will, so that they could go ahead and try to manipulate things so that what wasn't in the treaty would actually be how it would be interpreted to mean just recently, the United States had its review for the treaty and the tree body I termination because, ratify the treaty against racial discrimination and they tried to tell us that God's decision was basically racist that it was causing disproportionate harm to black women, which of course you know we know the opposite is true.

Right me my horse takes the life of a disproportionate number of black children, and that this is a very big disparity that that we ought to correct so this is again there's nothing that's not that goes to the one of the other ones is is this that the rights the rights to children it's it's a misrepresentation but because what it actually does would do if we ratified it is, is that it would take away all parental rights and and it would write you your Arduino I'm talking about, there's a there's a children child yes exactly which which doesn't have it, which isn't the rights of which I mean it is but it isn't because in reality it, it sends a child off into places that a child doesn't have the victim of the mental and emotional ability to make those kinds of decisions that they would be thrusting on that child.

Certainly things in the U.S. Senate, or potential ratification. And you know issues of parental rights on the right to life of children.

These are all issues that are, certainly, in terms of opposing ratifying these treaties leave you in the United States where a sovereign nation who does believe people have human rights, and you know we don't need to ratifying international treaty to believe that and to incorporate that into our own mind and in the Constitution as well, step the idea that ratifying the treaty would somehow address the gap in our own policy is very debatable. So as as were talking about this particular issue of the UN and this abortion peace. What specific treaty is that were dressing well UN abortion on almost every single tree body of the nine has pressed countries to liberalize their personalized in the most from the treaty on the rights of women against dissemination against women wasting it on from the tree on civil and political rights, where they in fact issued a general comments interpreting the right to life as including right to abortion believe that on most if you if you had made that statement to me.

I know 10 years ago. 20 years ago I would've said that's crazy now when you make that statement on white yeah okay I mean really honestly it's it's like yeah I get I can believe it, because I see how upside down these things are working have to go into a break here in just a minute when we come back. What I like to ask you is is what can our audience be doing. Who do we reach out to to influence the United States, receiving, accepting, ratifying these treaties that are out there which ones have we ratified where do we stand in the midst of all of this so we can try to get some action points together for people and and will appreciate you letting us know what we can do all right were to take a quick break will be back your listening to children generation ready my special guest Dr. Rebecca always is with us will be back with more coming up right after this brief break. We are no longer fighting with guns and said we're fighting an ideological battle for control of our country by contributing to cause I am you can support a chosen generation and make a tax-deductible donation by visiting www.chosen generation, read.com and now back to chosen generation with pastor Grace covenant generation radio were no topic is off-limits and everything filtered through billable glasses by very special guest is Dr. Rebecca OS and she is the director of research for the Center for family and human rights and were talking about the UN's efforts to push pro-abortion laws into their member nations and what can we do about it and as as you are closing out the last thing that we talked about that you know this is this is an underlying issue that is pushed in most all of the nine treaties that are being presented then asks for member nations to sign onto so so it's it's something that is just that and an over arcing issue of pushing to make abortion a a a primary focus of of UN policy. Clear there is nothing in any of the text of these nine Court of human rights treaties that mentions abortion at all could be reasonably interpreted as including right so the trees themselves may be other issues with them, but they don't actually include direct abortion at all and no country ratifying that I would be accepting such a rights existence. The problem is that the treaty monitoring bodies basically trying guide nations to fulfilling Jason's had become extremely aggressive about trying to redirect abortion into that and what we see, sometimes, most recently in India and Maryland Supreme Court as they will sometimes cite the opinions of the treaty bodies when making rulings and revising abortion laws seen this a few times in other countries so activist court sometimes use that as part of the basis of their rulings watching very closely when the dog decision came down to see the Supreme Court justices cited international human rights standards or anything like that because that can be very dangerous. Sure will and and we've seen in some of the American courts where they have in fact grabbed hold of some of the international readings and what have you. If I'm not mistaken I think Ruth Bader Ginsburg did that quite a bit worse, she would grab things from from international bodies and then try to get them you don't read into US law and human rights expert UN are more than eager to be involved in the process, you know there was a group of them from Geneva young human rights experts that are submitted in its brief in the decision urging the US not to overturn the way so you but when we talk about treaties treaties have to be ratified in the Senate and then signed by the president. So really for us. The place where we can have the greatest impact is by getting into the ear of our senators and and talking to them about these issues and making sure that they know where their constituency stands absolutely an election coming up and elections matter now including the midterms because it will determine who's in Congress and as you say the senators are very important here and it's important that they be not only informed on the issues at the international level but also they have strong convictions about life and family so that when they hear this information. They'll know what so we've got we've got several were we've got races where we want to be asking the candidates and make sure that we have a firm understanding of where they where they stand with regards to those issues. I am thinking in terms. For example, of of the race in Pennsylvania with you know Dr. Oz and and I believe that Ms. Fetterman right is the other guy yeah is so and he's in Fetterman's made it very clear where he stands with regards to this, we need to make sure that we can that we persuade Dr. Oz who has kinda waffled back and forth on this issue in the past that we want him to be a a pro-life Sen. absolutely very important so we need to contact your senators. You can do that. There's a number appear on the on the screen. If you're watching us right now. 202-224-3121. What would be the message that we would say we would make that phone call and and what would you suggest that the listeners say to the senator's office when they call. There is an upcoming decision.

For example, a ratification of the treaty is coming up on the schedule and obviously want to talk about that. Also, if there are laws that are pending that include these issues here and and certainly if people want to go to our website. C – FAM.org we write new stories every week about what's going on in the land, but also with the US is doing internationally both legislatively and on the executive branch and so people could look there for for some of the issues that they might want to bring up with their representatives see them both in the house and the Senate honestly because the house of course is put aside for the funding you mentioned these agencies and the influence that they can have on a nation. One of the nations that the UN has influenced that was at one time extremely pro-life is Argentina talk to us about that situation.

If you would for just a couple minutes well certainly we stand here. Sadly Argentina has recently been targeted a great deal of activism both inside and outside the country and it was seen as a huge win for the lobby really put the text international abortion say about does not force the country to change their loss.

Argentina changed its logging its own internal processing. Just as 50 states pro-life law it can do without interference from UN agencies. Obviously the narrative that trends toward the liberalization of abortion laws around the world. Beyond that, everything is moving in the same direction that this is inevitable and when we see countries that are making a lot more pro-life and we see the overturning of the way that sends a really powerful message and emboldens the pro-life community around the world to Boston and stand up for life because of course a lot of the countries that have deep public values you are pushing back the land that they don't have the advantage of large sums of money. They are recipients, UN agencies, and they've got European countries delivering Internet now and so obviously there there walking a fine line between the last outsize impact for good or for bad, because we are wealthy and powerful. So we have our citizens have a responsibility to make sure that our government is doing the things that best reflect the American people well and I think that something that folks need to be aware of this well is the UN's economic influence that they can hold were where you know in the same way we watch the Obama administration trying to push LGBT Q policies on African nations by essentially saying look, if you don't embrace what we want you to embrace the idea of you know, sodomy, and in the midst of an epidemic of an AIDS virus and things of that nature that they were battling in and you know children being orphaned because of these kinds of issues and in the midst of all of that you still had the Obama administration trying to flourish, push a a a you know was sexual activity that was increasing and encouraging more death in that country.

In these countries like Uganda that were saying nowhere were not going to do that. So the threat of economic kind of sanctions if you will, by the UN or withholding certain aid is is is very real really is. Know what our country is doing testing bilaterally is also very important to me USAID that agency for international development, recently released a draft gender policy basically wants to define women and girls out of existence effectively. This is the policy. Specifically that was designed originally under Obama to advance women and girls you know and their needs around the world and now basically saying that women and girls in all their diversity includes biological men and boys, you know, the concept of the whole transgender porch exactly well Rebecca, thank you and thank your organization see Pham C – family.org C – family.or get signed up also for their email so you can stay up-to-date with what's going on.
