I'm your host Pastor Greg and really really excited to present my next guest to you, he is it in and in my opinion and I will say this really he is a legend and an icon in fighting for equality versus the idea of equity were going to dig down into that. He is also the founder of the AC are I dot org and will talk a bit about a CRI.org in our segment as well. He is responsible for overturning affirmative action in California. He is responsible for bringing again equality back to a system that was designed to destroy us. The American civil rights Institute is the name of the organization that he founded in 1997, but he's been fighting this for a long time and I want to get into that with them as well work, Connerly joins us warm welcome. It's so great to have you.

Thanks for being here Greg Barker. Would you or the ward you have been fighting this fight to bring two people the understanding that there is a significant difference between equity and equality that wall that the civil rights movement did some some very great in some very powerful things. There were individuals that hijacked that movement and have used it as a divisive force and and I would suggest that under the Obama administration. Sadly, when you had for the very first time America elected a black president.

That's a great thing and yet he decided that no he he wanted to raise racism and victimhood and he started it. I mean immediately upon his inauguration, but speak to me about the difference between equity and equality and then brought my brother please take this wherever, what, wherever you feel that the leading worldwide. Let me know about that, by buildout will or at night, 39 Pro though heartbreaking with me.

The reminder very the day We doubt it will be ignored that bio out Connerly that was colored or colored and make the I will obey the road party would my very already. I would be able to get a bugbear of the what the better you borrow by the order date of our ideal withholding be so evident that are better created. That is the overriding your of our great and we are we have bettered though of making ideal a reality for every a dog again carrying my bully during the year that I would what I called my 12 year they admit a really good universe, or your what I that though the University study were why what they call the birth of the equity ended with an art variety that the ball rather broadly but, bright, and I will remember the day I die my what you believe about celebrating our diverse you. I have let their my high, but the brown they are not made anything right believe that we are what we are and diversity you got going down at all differently and giving them a bit based on their identity. If you brought that you have suffered back with Doug Gilbert reality bio but they had against people like me but that may cater but dedicated to the ball that back that way but that we have. So I have been buried begin to embark on a really trying to bring back no one with our deal every morning when I wake every day when I get my every night, but I likely that great. My overriding objective around up there and I can take that back of the print all of the quality you would like the doctor attributed by the government. Make sure that will lead a good name for the government that the letter to our letter capital liberty to put it out babe You're right of bid will good equity while all of that big because you please go but I might've been differently and because the day that I dug out but well, good buddy, I'll probably have more than we created three dog at better drinking habit throughout elected we have people running on what more about we bring America back with the platform of Sen. Bradberry, a progressive and about the that of you like to go big or good now but moreover Obama and the right now are not well, but although they are different blackbird. Republican. They are there, though, to think that the great made out of bed.

The but we haven't pretty good belly capital yeah what an instant you know why I had David Johnson on David Johnson was the whistleblower for Hasbro and I would encourage folks to get your podcasts and listen to that I had Charles love on last Friday I he's written a book called race crazy talking about what your what your you know suggesting and and ward you know some of the questions that I asked them was as I I asked him whether or not they had identification so I if if if I may, with your permission, may I ask, do you, do you happen to have identifications or like a driver's license. You were you able to get at you have do you have an ID where I do okay so I and and then if if you you know were were out and and about and wanted to go eat at at at a restaurant, you feel pretty good about your chances of being able to get into that restaurant and and have a meal. Do we awkward guard ring and and you you were a a tenured professor at a at a university correct, though I would not okay okay what their ordinary who happened by so nobody date they really but I'm okay okay so so now was not a position that you were nominated for or so or I how does that work. How does one become a region of University give me a quick answer and will talk more about we come out of right okay all right very good so so the governor of the state of California appointed you to be a region for the University of California. Is that correct. The overall you all okay little every home of all of all of that.

Everything filtered through biblical glasses, my special guest Ward Connerly former region for the University of California school system warned that we were we were beginning to kind of talk a little bit about that that appointment by Gov. Pete Wilson that you received as a region or some of the things that you had been involved in leading up to that appointment. I Sacramento or the wide way, grab any are where a lot of dealing with the lead right there and I get I really only the bail I member duck. The California building all day. What we wait to hang on hang on meticulously was a very clear Mr. Connelly so so you are a black American. Is that Correct Hwy., Brown and and you were inducted into the building Hall of Fame in the state of California yet that that that sounds like inequality to me. My am I misreading something sir.

Know your car almost universally people. There are you're going to with the oil will appear Friday based on your work and I have that blood by my great will that I want you to and they really along with the other week numbered one of the boat. I and I really and I are University were ready to get a good white work out the way I or that I'm going to minority I would be the mark. But my right what I Greg Bishop That we use underrepresented minority you a lot about the problem. The problem is that we have about that but you'll get organized limited again. People who have little bit bored the wrong color only been the hope that the quality audit at the vet because of the of the top in our body are not equally good.

I'm on underrepresented minority white that they therefore were going to correct that they think that correct that by they override the log. The regulated that we would would give you quality of treatment. The people) tell you that you're about equity where people play were giving black people, black word, but I think that God and the name of equity in California where they work great that Betty White, a (but every day Broadway that wow the more the bar Friday at that might need noble, but you get what about that but God right.

Your good quickly based on right and he is also accurate to suggest that there were different standards. Obviously we know that in the South were slavery had existed that after the Civil War there were compromises that were made that that did not uphold the the purposes behind the war, which was creating that equality for all people, and yet you had a number of individuals. Frederick Douglass, for example, in others that found great success national notoriety successful businesses and so on.

Even though there were other parts of the country where there obviously were significant racial inequalities that were taking place, you know Martin Luther King obviously marched in Washington DC but he was marching in Washington DC because of what was happening in places like Birmingham, Alabama, which by the way, there's a great film that you might might want to look at folks that is about a a high school there in Birmingham, Alabama where basically they came back to faith in Jesus Christ, not basically. They did the Jesus movement encounter, Birmingham, Alabama and and it and it completely and totally transformed that entire city and that entire community, but Ward you know you you.

We also have to recognize that there was progress that took place and I use progress as a positive word rather than the progressives in our country and and in the vision of our founders that all men being created equal, that that equality would exist and in certain parts of the country throughout our history, there was a quality there were great great hope we learn more but it is that what about Robert yet I Greg we cannot go back and alter the way my uncle Jay who would pay quote black bear colored man we All.

What are the Friday night but we can obey of the good Lord and of our current. We have to live for today and equity for the most part living or yet today it is meeting people who did not live during yesterday differently based on what happened, though there granddaddy or their great back that but at the clock that that that we are arming other people who had nothing to do with yesterday who are there live through are the folks that have equal treatment under the law, that the liberty for all. All of that would work for the defiled equity said we are trying to give you very cities of California would look is universal here for 30 people based on the color and that does not always work ethic, and it destroys families because it also has been a portion will talk with the suburban Glenarden tomorrow, but it's a push to remove men from the family and that is an intentional and intentional to destroy community the way Woodlawn is the name of the movie I was thinking of Woodlawn and I would urge you want to live long and I will encourage you to ask. Did you do with the world that I sent my son to die for and redeem how did you fight the good fight, share the good news. Give people a check. How did you shine your light to be a beacon of truth in the darkness did you shrink back in fear when the demand you change my message.

Did you call evil good and good evil, did you forsake my love for that of another line with the adulterer and setting up a new idol in your life have you to file yourself through compromise and tolerance of that which I call an abomination. Have you innocent blood on your hands for the children murdered on your watch of the young ones perverted in their way by evil men seeking their own comfort in reviling me know.

At the end of the day. I want him to simply say the evidence is in. Well done, thou good and faithful servant.

I love my God and I love his creation, and I will go to my grave telling the world that evil is evil and only God is good and Jesus came to save the world, that no matter the evil in the world. I will never give up. And in spite of the hate I will love. In truth, God bless you all and may love remove the veil so you all might enter into Israel
