Give us a call and keep on listening because you are God's chosen generation chosen generation hose pastor and you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a peculiar people, you should show forth the praises of him who is called you out of darkness into his marvelous life, which in time past were not a people that are now the people of God, which had not obtained mercy, but now have obtained mercy and now chosen generation, analog of the program. Great to have you with me. Thanks so much for joining and I do know you have a choice in where you can listen each and every day, and I thank you so much for giving it to adhere to showed generation where no topic is off limits and everything filtered through biblical glasses and I'm so excited that you have a gentleman who I had the privilege of getting to meet at sea pack in Dallas joins us and that he is. He's fighting just at an incredible battle on behalf of his district. The 43rd congressional district in my home state where I was born and raised. I live in Texas now, but it is a state that said that I was born and raised in and I'm very pleased to welcome to the program, Joe Collins, Joe welcome good to have you, sir, thanks for being here a great big absolutely. Absolutely. Well, you know you talk a lot and I and I love I love again your your opening on on your website and encourage all of my audience to go to Joe Collins for Congress.com Joe Collins for Congress.com and the and watch his his conversation that he'll have with you about what's happening in in the neighborhood that that he grew up then I did a lot of ministry in South Modesto when I lived in Modesto out on now what we used to call Southside and and you know and saw a lot of the stuff that you're talking about in this video there. Joe talk to me about your district and talk to me about some of the unique things that that your district is facing an and that you'd like to see changed in India for those people while I'm in California currently. We know that every bit coming out though.

It will end up paying you when addicted outline and right now we have Caplinger would… Later what about what that area on Gardena. We have Capricorn quit cart. The airport area with the Westchester area Lawndale in Lomita and I think where they get you that we have right now wanted biggest challenge with it, whereby Democrat there.

The lack of quality job. We have you know that I cannot get enough people like me though how quality dog you know the compliment, Beckley California Drive we have a creek told the day Violet the method by lumping the majority of the issue come from people struggling though. I want to limit the happiness I will more quality doctrine back to our community. Yeah I talked to Dr. Ben Carson on on Friday and and one of the things that we discussed was, you know, under the previous administration. The opportunity sounds you know the the know going in and and encouraging private money private business to invest in neighborhoods like what you're talking about and and he was talking about. I wish I could remember now in the that though the specific location and I apologize Joe but there was a particular area where you know where where they were rehabilitating guys that were coming out of a prison and one of the things that they were doing was is that they got him some employers to agree to go in and start meeting with these young people and start sharing with you know is sharing and getting training in place and then when they came out they gave him a job and my cohost on the program Don Jantz and asked Dr. Carson.

He said what you know what can we do to change attitudes you know to change how they might be into this that the other and other guards that look is not about habitudes it's about opportunities. Attitudes change with opportunities leading up to doing enough to reeducate anybody.

We just simply had to say hey here's an opportunity to work and get a job and they got a job and they started working and wants that all started everything else about everything else. They'd been involved in. They didn't want to do any of that anymore. They want to be engaged in that because they have a choice makes a difference. Will people, young people coming out of Orton and update that you know once you pay your debt by whatever it is that you did get bear you to be up for an opportunity to live at American it and you would take a look at your version of the American dream in any conduct lacking that we have to talk about an opportunity for people even asked is it that the life of crime and system pipeline because it like it like you keep the background admit that opportunity and you know but then it broke me to get paid get a beep of the light. Now I remember. You know, ministering and you know at some of the shelters and and and even you know going in and getting a chance to minister my holy hip-hop show reached a lot of the penitentiaries in areas what have you and and and we do that now this program in South Texas actually gets into a number of the penitentiaries that are that are down in South Texas and I get letters from those guys you know I get correspondence from them and and a number of them are given their lives to Christ.

As a result of the program and I'm I'm honored by then I'm I'm I'm grateful for that but but but exactly what you said about you know it, it becomes a it becomes a cycle and and you know part of breaking that cycle is is creating opportunities before the cycle takes hold before it. Before that, even becomes a thing we've got a start.

You know I mean it part of it. Sue, though Joe is is getting rid of the bad elements that are that are better. You know, inhibiting that the the businesses in that area that are some of which are already there from from being able to create those opportunities yet that well to go without the gate equal any community there on a level that they can understand no effect on a quick talking point. People who get me to get the rent paid or did we fit in a get daycare catered to struggling out of committee and it will become the pathetic people who live in the community in a heartfelt thank cycle of complaining about the things that go on in Atlantic City without being a product of the solution. So it's a fine line then really Joe between I you know I mean, when you went as a preacher, you know, if I don't address sin and I simply say God killed his son because he loves you.

I you know II having you and I got I got five kids. Joe I love you man but I'm not going to kill any of my kids to try to make you think that okay however you know is so so we have to address. You know the issue of what's wrong. We have to we have to call out you know bad behavior, but I hear what you're saying it then then it becomes a situation where there's a sensitivity to the idea that because I call out bad behavior. You know that that it's that it's calling everybody I know, somehow connected to that bad behavior. III don't I mean Scripture says that all have sinned right so in the matter of your red-brown yellow, black or white. Every person has a sin issue until there encountered by Christ.

That's the gospel I read, but it but I hear what you're saying there's a sensitivity to the idea than, well, okay, wait a minute now. Are you saying that you know everybody lives in my neighborhood is bad because we have this one you know this group. This bad gang.

This whatever that's going on. That's the fine line.

That's where we go. We got up somehow break through that barrier address where the real issue is and and get past it being I don't know what community connected yet been made window. The theory of light that up up people were conditioned to believe 13 personal log right on on on on all sides of the equation right yeah yeah yeah I mean because it's it's it's you know. But don't you think the part of this too is the responsibility of you know educators as an example that I think you know indoctrinate. I mean, like for example there's been a lot of pushback about the issue of CRT because yeah and and I've I've watched school board meetings and listen to black parents expressing as much concern as white parents about it because again it's the idea of open now were to look at the color somebody's skin I were to say okay, that means there must be hate their because of the color of skin. It's it's we've got to stop that process. Yeah, you know, but go right.

We have a path that we have it by looking at the union ligament board are looking at the local government that are allowing unladylike that they play that you get by the RTW credit and color that their luck will part the more the pertinent somebody else.

Without understanding it that people that they make, mainly because of the lack of report from from the school board though, the deeper it will become the critical race theory and not a border cleat that or what County Board of Education, color, talk about critical rate. Oregon and Anna, Kartik regulated code being played out anything like in a correct me if I'm wrong that anything another way to keep people depended on the government about people of color like you could never be greater than where you are right now because the open like you did a pack and rely on the government and by people that because of your and that there you can't continue to progress on a level bathroom everybody else that you need to depend on the government applicant like me, you know what it was… Right is not just its gifts and I think thank you because I think you cut to the heart of it right there Joe, it's what we have to understand, and I I I wasn't in.

I agree with you.

If you can't just focus on education you got talk media you got a top government, you've got a talk unions you've got me. There's a whole mindset that is all about trying to control us by the use of narratives that they have drilled in to our to attend to many American psyche that that are that are just absolutely that it it's been kinda like the frog in the pot. It's slowly killing us off Joe when we get back. Don't go anywhere because we cannot joke I when you talk about how you are approaching this because you're going to be an agent of change to fix these issues. We just talked about. And I know it is not going to be like a quick magic on but will be back talk about residence now is a critical time to be vigilant in the defense of our freedom is no better way to do so them by joining the Association of mature American citizens a Mac a Mac is one of the fastest growing conservative organizations in America well over 2 million people of joined now carry the a Mac membership card. Be sure and check out the website Joe Collins CO LL I NS Joe Collins for FOR Congress.com Joe Collins for Congress.com Joe you just at some to me that I think is is is so profound and it's it it it's one of the things that I think is meant as ministers we get asked a lot and that is you know why doesn't God just immediately fix everything on her and you said you know if it hit if we been able to change the world and last 14 minutes.

You know how many people that you know, pray to God when things are tough.

Forget about them when things are good since it was there so much truth in that. Oh my gosh so much wisdom there Joe so much was but we've only got about three minutes left shift key when I today talk to me about the changes that you hope to be able to create as as the congressman from this district wide thing I wanted to show people how to lead it… About bleeding. I would be able to engage people to regular bait show that I believe that if you get cut. They laid a big show that living in poverty became the norm but you look back on that urban education is obviously where my thought go with the relationship between lot workmen at a community effort structured extreme rebuilding of our distributor extremely poor and bring tobacco quality.I think be that a basic to having a productive ID where everybody can strive for greatness.

Everybody can live there back burden of their American dream opportunity. I mean I think that's not at the end of the day that's that's what all you and all Americans should be hoping for for for each other right is is you note is to create, you know, the freedom from that and and what I hope word doing here consistently is pushing back against you don't meeting indoctrination educational indoctrination government overreach governmental indoctrination you talked about it you know both sides being pushed to believe the government is where the answer is folks, the answer is God.

And the answer is life, liberty, and The Pursuit of Happyness inalienable rights granted to us by our Creator and were those don't exist. We need people like Joe Collins fighting to make sure that they do. And Joe I appreciate you. You know picking up this challenge because it's it's it it's not just clichés and and and and it's not just done in a speech it's it's done in action Joe again remind folks how they get in touch with you and and and what what what you need. What's the biggest thing that folks can do to help you. I know my website Joe Colin or garlic.com follow me all you platform at Yogi, and three and when the big day that people can do and donate a really gay people in our community and also Ithink the four know the people to make wholeheartedly.
