Talk show that's getting you talk to your with Brian kill me as we go through the week.

Why would a great point to close at this hour with wires standing in Isaac for stratigraphic fixed overall for the Orlando Magic was taking a knee during the BLM riots in the George Floyd death.

He was killed by the cops is now in jail but I think two to please this week. John and Isaac stood tall and in fact he wrote a book about it, which is called wise stand and is out out this week Jonathan, welcome to the show yet, so the daily wire are publishing your book. First off, are you growing up, the prox WABC listeners who were listening right now WRC ending they know about you being high school standout. But when you when it came to being drafted. Did the thing about you is your values, your ethics and and your religious beliefs where that come from the journey over time. And that's what I really tried to do with the book why standards take people to a journey of my life and how I came to faith in the first place. So I grew up in the church, that had all the time but it wasn't something that really held onto just on a traditional for me so I got back as basketball, took over and I was able to get out and explore kind of look like that everybody would expect her upcoming note going to be in the MBA played a lick about the same time, I still had laconic Christian route to me a little bit, but it really came to fruition. Once I got into the NBA in the book that you do all of that. So the Christian religion foundation. But while so many African American players were taking the because they said was In a good said his inequities in our society. Do you not see inequities in our society or why did you stand not that I don't see no inequities in our society is that I didn't believe that, for me it was that I couldn't think of a better antidote or message to the problems that we see racism and everything look like the hearts of men. Other than the gospel so I didn't want to go along with anybody's narrative along with an organization. When anybody believed for them that was their way of no finding change which was kneeling for the national anthem is wearing a black Lodge met a T-shirt for me.

It wasn't from the outlook of my life is that you know what I know that the love of Jesus Christ and the gospel has been what exchanged me and that's woman to stand up and remind people that we all fall short of God's glory be vulgar things that are wrong. At the end of the day get this one change were going to have to love Christ, and so that's what I want to stand up and say that's why we go to book to give people the story behind the understood where is what is being in America mean to you all the I love being in America today. I think all know I appreciate the fact that I live in a country where we have freedoms and rights, and you can become one of the, thank you, know that the American dream is something still to it aspire towards and you don't publicly live in America and you and your daddy unbelievable success through it.

It's more than talent. It's gotta be hard-working are you doing with a series of injuries right now with you busy little magic okay with you standing during the national anthem. They were all had conversations before all the fortified despair. I told the president about Hamlet that catch anybody off guard home but yet you're there.

They were okay with it came out the statements of know at the end of this report affected him and him I'm allowed to make my own decisions and but you see the polarization of the moment, there was a tunnel backlash in the lobby within the group… Decided that this was a lie. Think of you. Do not just atonement and backlash from just just subsided and they know that there are people who equated wearing a T-shirt and merely for the national anthem with little support of black laughing and that's why different but damn I look at my life my life is been supported by the gospel. I know countless plastic people that look like me. People don't that have been supported by the gospel and I was like, this is not the only way to support know backlash and what was originally stated that the symbol became an order and build the first question I try to establish do you even believe that backlash matter, and that in itself is the problem is that people equated wearing a T-shirt and that's what the end-all be-all for the support of black Lodge and just it's just not what you view the organization feeling well. It's it's it's it's changed over time and you don't know things are starting to come out later about the way that they use conflict from the very beginning it was just the tone of the message and animals that the organization had the have the ability to save the black community and no note from the earliest point, I rejected an object of the tone of the message and just enough of that. I was for me on the local comfortable on declaring that Jesus was the answer in the list of no talking the people agreed with that organization or not that I think a lot of people to just get swept up in black Lodge matter which they do but for me was that black clouds don't matter more to anyone than they do to God and so that's why decided to stand up and note salvation for anyone black leather different is the complete movement is not gonna come through legislation is not a complete party to come to Christ.

Fox News contributor transom.com daily newsletter.

I'm inviting you to join a conversation every week is been Dominic's podcast listen no Fox News contests.com Jonathan Isaac, our guest's magical window magic store when I took the best will really talk about life society in America so black eyes matters been making us again a lot of scrutiny because it got a tens of millions of dollars to people wanting to what's happening in lot of the group. The questions are coming from the black community itself saying I thought this is there there to help and so many corporations have given money and again I was you shocked by how often or how how inadequate Patrice the person who runs this organization Patrice Kroger's answers have been here she is describing when people ask where the money is what you say. The way that the right wing media specifically has characterized the mistakes are truly anti-black. They are about this idea that black people, especially black women on how to manage money to manage funds of know what to do with money and and the reality is it any organization receives tens of millions of dollars and 1 to 2 months time. Everybody would be trying to figure out what you do with that. How about just leaving the account until you spend it with your arrow is unfortunate.

There were so many people to get swept up because of the great backlash matter Which they do so. All I feel bad. I'm not completely surprised again. I don't feel that an organization of the hands of people is what's going to be the answer to the hearts of men in this country change not know that it can come to Christ. We can choose to love the way God loves us, which is an spot of our call to Scott about the other that we can see potential if it sucks. It's unfortunate foothill know that these things are, not because there is a net positive on the continuum reported and work towards the society getting better for me to think about how much progress this was progress be made, but I believe that America's most successful multicultural country in history the world and how much progress we made when you look back. Even the dead from the 1860s of the 1960s till today you see that progress and I would agree with you that America's shoulders of all know a lot of the places in the world again. Why, I appreciate the fact that live here.

One thing my pastor always says about individuals and me, especially since you know you haven't always done everything right but you haven't done everything wrong either.

And that's the way that you America that you know the passage America has done everything right, but hasn't done everything wrong. Peter and the rights that it has been should be celebrated in the long should continue the people towards them becoming better, but again I'm come glad to live in America and the message of ultimately Christ being the answer is the hearts of men changing at the end of the day in August even though there's been progress in deciding even now in tragedies like torch going when it is something where all you have this frustration shooting them before the end of the day that there still is room to grow and loving our neighbor past the differences best color to scan the ark and wrapping her arms around people who are going to note all situations. And then ultimately just choosing to love in spite of politics in spite of size in spite of the five jobs do sometimes see some of the stuff and he's think it's almost their intent to divide when you see some of these news reports. Some of the speeches and think of myself.

They try to make things better for they are they trying to makes to make sure things aren't what I think that there's a level of that. I think it all. I think it comes from everywhere.

I think they're not the end of the day. People have agendas people have yet ultimately what they going to come about, know you did so they can Christian power be the ones that are in charge on but I think it's important for you know people to stand up and then share with a delete and encourage not be afraid to go against you know whatever's the mainstream movement at the time and just drop off a big part of my book as well as just going in that courage and boldness to stand up for what you believe and I was able to do that through developing a relationship with Oak that I was able to stand up in a moment where was really tough to do so.

How proud is is your family of you feel greatly and not just my family but you coached so many people from around the country cannot all know people have been greatly sent letters and emails all different things about not only the standard in reading why I stand right now so many people have left great reviews and just are encouraged and want to stand up for what they believe in as well because of it. So I have my family. I have my wife. I have much urge my passion everybody so encouraged and which is moving quote with the message that ultimately Jesus Christ is the answer, not about decided opens right and wrong about us all coming together and choosing to love and by the way, again, you guys are torturing accents you get the number one pick. Again, the magic what would you guys doing dirty got shack one time did Penny Hardaway. The next year and now you guys once again get number one in the lottery for the window magic and Johnny I Jonathan lastly about getting vaccinated. You made a stand to me. Much like Kari Irving here in New Jersey, New York, he's like I'm not getting vaccinated, and they would let them play New York we could play away games. What about what you do is what was going to the decision of the vaccinated vaccinated was fairly easy for me around the time that everything was going… I just really just decided to take a step back and count of you where everything was going home in early on, I could tell that you'll just go to the forceful nature of the vaccine coming on the people were adamant about pushing it and making it a moral decision that if you did it if you got it you with his good person that you did it if you at any type of hesitancy wanted to ask questions about natural immunity yet know the effects of the vaccine. Long-term, the women impregnated children almost thanks you were. You note Dean.

There's a people person and so from yes to the back of the book on young mother telling us that the survival rate is 99.97 I don't have any comorbidity. Some of the best shape of my life. I don't see the wisdom and putting something into my body.

That's not going to stop me from getting infected and transmitting the disease anyway.

Again, already at cardiac over to at a level of national unity and to see people's religious freedom in all of the religious and medical exemptions be denied. People lose their jobs if it was easy for me is that you know what I want to be a voice for those people in stand up and continue fighting.

Again, that's all in one nice thing about the journey to how we can we do to all know the vaccine. All of the potential yes I understand and agree that makes total sense. I have no problems if there are people. Another network should be outrage we've made that statement. I'm sure you know that I was a whole bunch of people listening to me right now, especially New York, with a said told nurses a doctor's anyone who works in a hospital that was there through the worst times you fired a getting who you fired get a booster or you're fired so it's me. It's been a pretty outrageous time from the George Ford rights of the pandemic to what we now what were we were where we are right now why I stand the name of the book, the author, Jonathan Isaac is put it out. It's his story.

Jonathan, thanks so much for the quality time almost mind and again I would encourage everybody not really believe that this is something that we should support not even just because of YM or what the message is on notice, this book is going to encourage people inspire people all over the globe understand what they believe and to develop a relationship or question ultimately makes the world that were trying to create a better place to give my best to Pat Williams, the price that the man who brought Orlando professional basketball. Thanks much, Jonathan is our statement.
