Please mention the call letters of the station, of which you hear the program and if you can help us support the broadcast we will certainly appreciate it. We must have our listeners help in order to stay on all the stations are dress is the Baptist Bible. Our box 17 old, 37, Cincinnati, OH 45217 and there are specific benefits described two special benefits that are listed here one set please my servant is warned. Psalm 19 verse 10 more to be desired are they even though yea that much fine gold sweeter also than honey and the honeycomb. Moreover by them is not servant warned and in keeping of them there is great reward benefit by them. My servant is warned. Think of what benefit is that there are many warnings around us in life design for our safety start on the street here and you will see at the railroad crossing. There are signals there's a flashing light. There's a bell that rings there's a gate comes down as the train approaches wasn't too long ago that someone to the north of us here decided that they were going to ignore the warning's they arrived on the tracks at the same time the train. And were killed instantly. Warnings are there for a purpose is not beneficial as you travel on the highway and you're coming to a sharp curve and there is a sign there warning you. The road is going to sharply turn the left and then your suggested speed is put there. In addition to the speed limit itself you go today to purchase medicine and attached to it are with the package often comes a rather lengthy sheet to warn you about certain side effects and about certain dangers that you might face if you were to take it with other medications without the knowledge of your doctor where your part in life there are warnings so we can appreciate the fact there is something there to warn us for our own safety and benefit of the psalmist says by thy word, my servant is warned about a few of those warnings.

Proverbs 1315 says the way of the transgressors is far have my say will I thought the people who pursue the things of this world were having a great time. Thank you may have friends that wonder why you don't go with them in the pursuit of the things that they considered to be so entertaining and so well. The Scriptures acknowledge that there are pleasures in sin for a season.

Moses had sat and chose rather to suffer affliction with the people of God and to enjoy the pleasures of sin for a season, there can be temporary pleasure in sinful indulgences, but ultimately sin brings its own consequences.

The things that seem to be so appealing, so beneficial, so satisfying.

Initially bring about some tragic results and particularly for one who has been enlightened one whose eyes have been opened to see things that they had not seen, and they insist on going the way of the transgressor ignoring the warnings. This is my life, I will limit as I please. Ultimately they find out how difficult life can be. I talk to people said I'm just at a point of despair. My life is falling apart.

Everything has gone wrong. I never talk to one young man.

Along those lines a few years ago.

He said you know what I look at the chaos of my life today. I'm just ready to give up on God is a just a minute as you enumerated the things are going wrong in your life. It was very evident that you called every event you prescribed all of it was the result of your sinful behavior and now you want to blame it on the your reaping the results of your revenge and against him the way of the transgressors is hard Proverbs chapter 14 of the 12th verse tells us that there is a way which seems right on demand thereof are the ways of not only can the way the transgressor be hard. It can lead to death. Physical death. Many sinful indulgences can ultimately bring about a person is given continuously to alcohol or drugs or immoral behavior in a variety of ways. It can bring about physical and course the book of Romans tells us that the wages of sin is death, ultimately death comes final separation comes from God because of sin, then there's another warning.

One of these flashing red lights. James chapter 4, the 14th verse says that life is short and describes life to be like a vapor that appears for a moment and soon it vanishes away start out in days of youth that I got a long time out there in front of me. I got plenty of time to get around to studying the Scripture and serving God.

I got some pressures only right now about some of the things about her tend to take care this down the road.

None of us have any guarantee that we'll see the sunrise tomorrow. Life is as a vapor that suddenly vanishes away.

This is not a morbid outlook on life. This is facing reality that God would have us to consider what's the practical impact of considering the brevity of life we want to use our time to the very best advantage. We want to thank God for each day and each hour of every day that he has given us. We want our time to be wasted spent in frivolous, meaningless pursuits and interests. You want to come later in life and say whatever time has passed by so I'm now looking toward the end of the journey.

Much of what I did was without any real life is short you so well. I wish I thought about this 25 years ago, but it's good to think about it now if you don't have but another day, another week left. Think about the fact that life being short, I want to use my time wisely. Another great morning. First Peter chapter 5 verse eight tells us that we have an adversary, a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour. This is Satan, our great enemy as many times as we tried to sound the alarm as many times we tried to acquaint people with the fact that this is a principle that is revealed in Scripture. Satan is our adversary. There are many while many devices many schemes that he uses to confuse us to Pulaski and gives direction is constantly attempting to influence our minds the way we think ever had time when all of a sudden there were doubts letting you that you never had before. At least if you had shoved them away quickly, but now it comes in great force. Satan would say how you really know that book is got look at all the things in there. You don't really understand all the questions you can answer.

You know that this book is a superior book that this book is without flaw. I really know what the preachers talking about so I believe that God is on the throne of God is sovereign God is working his.

We believe that salvation is by grace whole. Satan can Hurley's fiery darts. Did you have questions about everything. He's a roaring line what's his purpose. He wants to read. He wants to confuse you. He wants to instill doubts and fears in your mind wants to pull you away from the church and the sad thing that so often happens is when a person begins to go through a time of doubt and struggle to decide but I will quit coming to church. If there was a time known to be there is to be under the sound of the gospel to be warned to be reviewed to be encouraged to be taught this at this home and waited out, and generally, things get worse that's the case tells us in this passage that we are to resist the death warrant that we have this great adversary and that we are to resist him. What are you going to resist the devil patient that the sixes were put on the whole armor of God were to put on the helmet of salvation to protect our minds from the onslaught of worldly concepts that may influence us and then he warns us not to think that we are standing see somebody might say, well, it's probably good that the preacher talks about these things. I'm sure there people that needed but I think about my feet on the ground. I don't think it is this really applies to me. I think I'm strong but here's what Paul said in first Corinthians chapter 10 of the 12 verse wherefore let him that think if he stands take heed lest he fall as a warning.

Let that person who says I'm sorry secure. I can't leave turned away, I'll never waver. Take heed lest you fall and then here's a warning. Matthew chapter 6 verse 14 and 15 were told here about forgiveness you talk about a warning. This says if we fail to forgive others. God will not forgive us some item I so I don't fully understand that I'm going to try to take time to explore all the details ramifications are connected with you, but I would say just take that for what he says so serious morning is if you're holding grudges. If you're holding resentments. If you're refusing to forgive other people. All I know you can make all kinds of defenses and excuses about they have done what they should've done no matter what about your situation. If we fail to forgive. He will not forgive us and then here's one.

Matthew chapter 7 verse 26 warns us do not build your house on the sand when you think it to be an absolutely foolish thing for person to go near the ocean where the sand is constantly shifting in the tide moves in and carries the sand out to be a big sign their site. Don't build at the site and semester, but I like it here as it is as beautiful scenery. I like to leave here to build a house, and the waves come in the sand shifts in town. Jesus says you to build on what you talk about. He says the one that hears these sayings of mine, and does not do them is the equivalent of the individual who is building his house on the sand as a serious warning by then the word of God to his servant is warned.

Are you laying to heart the seriousness of the warning. The word of God. I know sometimes we don't really want to hear warning how many of you men here tonight if your foot is a bit heavy and your wife says slow down many of you appreciate getting that advice when you're behind the wheel you attempt to defend yourself excuse yourself and say I got it under control. Everything's fine.

I don't need any such warnings and sometimes you read the Bible to come across a warning is not what I want today.

Let me get over here to find something to make me feel good, you hear a sermon from the pump at that site. Warning message and sent on, but it's a blessing that God provides warnings for us awake another sleep warning me asleep. The Bible is full of warnings and then he says, in the keeping of them is great reward. Now some people interpret that to mean that if now I am obedient I will have earned and gain some kind of forgot to pay all because I now deserve it limited to something we are not worthy of the least of his mercies and there's never a time that you could come in the presence of God and say Lord. Look what I've done and I'm ready to be paid at the same time the principle of this text certainly is true in the keeping of them there is great reward. Think the passage it.

We've often looked at is very here. Jeremiah chapter 6 in the 16th verse, thus saith the Lord, standing in the waves and see and ask for the old password is a good way and will vary in and you shall find rest for your souls when you walk in the good way to find rest for your so you walk in the opposite path the ways of the transgressors are accessed just basic simple proof for the of the word of God. When you disobey the problem when you decimate the chastening, God is going to be upon you. Do not go to find joy, blessing and pleasure in the pathway of sin, you walk in the way of righteousness and truth. The reward is walking in the light you find peace in Jesus is coming to me all you that labor and are heavy laden, and I would give you rest in Matthew chapter 11 verse 29 take my yoke upon the B from beacon lowly in heart, and you shall find what you're so doesn't mean that you're coming to Christ in order to work for hire position marriages favor, but as you take upon yourself. Here's being easy, his burden being liked you find blessing and joy in walking in the light walking in the pathway of the third part of this Psalm speaks of God's grace which is personal revelation we can see that when the psalmist then speaks about his own concerns. Verse 12. Who can understand his errors claims thou me from secret faults they could realize is that there are some errors there are some shortcomings that he might not fully understand there are some false but maybe secret, but only are they secret to others and maybe secret to himself secret from the Lord knows all about us ministries we have to pray Lord, search me, trying to make me to know what's with me but to see a recipient of grace is concerned about sin. That's the reason we say that God's grace is here manifest in the life of the writer of this Psalm, he is concerned about sin is prayer is to be cleansed from secret faults. We often do not see ourselves. James talked about looking into the looking glass and a man sees but goes away and forgets about it he pays no mind to satisfy their times. It many did not even avail themselves of the opportunity of looking at the looking glass of God's word. We don't see ourselves what you suppose it would be like to hear a very honest vivid description of what somebody else sees you to be like a little painful time.

Our friends are going to deal gently with this and if they want to tell us about a fault I saved enough time way trying to help us and not like us out in the process.

Somebody just observed you and wrote down not just what they thought might be some good quality slips all your faults and your flaws in your weaknesses might be kind of hard to limited you to make the others that see faults in us that we don't see ourselves without taking God sees a lot more than any human being and there are secret faults or motives that are wrong there sometimes seasons of ignorance affects a case. Want to know about what he saying, Lord, cleanse me from secret faults and then he says keep my classroom and also from presumptuous sin. Let them not have dominion over me then shot me upright and I shall be innocent from the great transgression boutique back from presumptuous into presumptuous sin is a willful sand.

It's a deliberate sin is something that stalled out.

The person knows full well.

God forbids this, but I want to do it anyway. They may try to defend it and excuse it. They try to justify their own mind, but it's willful, it's a direct violation of the word of God keep me back from presumptuous sins. Then he expresses this desire in the first part of verse 14 let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be acceptable in thy sight. He wants the way he thinks, and the way he speaks, to be acceptable to God brings us back really to the text we look back several times recently, in Colossians 317 very much in harmony with it that says whatever we do in word or deed, to do all in the name of the Lord Jesus plug that in that answer a lot of questions and give you guidance about how to spend your time how to spend resources whether this is right. That's right, this is wrong that's wrong. Whatever you do do in the name of the Lord Jesus.

Psalm 119 verse nine, wherewithal shall a young man cleanse his way by taking heed thereto according to thy word with my whole heart have I saw the let me not wander from my commandment, thy word I kid in my heart that I might not sin against the Lord.

I've hid that word in my heart I want the word to be pulled in me as Paul expresses it in the plus and II want to word fully absorbed.

I want to meditate upon the word like you to my heart that I might not sin against the blessed art thou, Lord, teach me last with my lips and I declared all the judgments by mouth. I have rejoiced in the way of thy testimonies as much as in all riches I will dictate in thy precepts and have respect on the byways I will delight myself in my sketches I will not forget by word, old Lord, I want my meditations. I want my words to be acceptable in thy sight, and then he acknowledges old Lord, my strength hears God's grace is personal revelation.

It's more than just the revelation that came from the display of the beautiful sunshine grace to heaven. It's more than just the words that were read in the sacred book now is personal with him old Lord, my strength, thou art my strength, but at some 18 verse two the Lord is my rock and my fortress and my deliverer, my God, my strength, and whom I will trust my buckler and the horn of my salvation and my high power verse 46 the Lord liveth, and blessed be my rock. And the God of my salvation be exalted holiest the Lord is my strength. Paul says in Philippians chapter 4 verse 13 I can do all things through Christ which strengthens me.

You need strength you feel to be wary you feel that you can't blog I can do all things.

Whatever the good things about the things the right thing to me to be not I can do them Christ which strengthens me in the final reference of the Psalm will Lord my strength and my Redeemer is grace to say that the Lord is my Redeemer is to acknowledge that I needed to Redeemer. I was willing and hopeless without I needed one redeeming Job said I know that my Redeemer liveth, what hope you had in the darkness of his troubles. I need to Redeemer not have one.

He didn't have all the insight and understanding about Jesus Christ that we have, but he knew that his Redeemer lived. Ephesians chapter 1 verse seven says in the foam speaking of Christ in whom we have redemption through his blood and the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace we have redemption in Christ for strength in chapter 1 verse 30 says of him are you in Christ Jesus will God is made unto us wisdom, righteousness, sanctification, and redemption that according as it is, repeat the glory glory of the Lord.

We glory in him, causing him we have redemption Hebrews chapter 9 verse 12 says neither by the blood of goats and tabs, but by his own blood. What's in the holy place, having obtained eternal redemption for us here is personal revelation is God showing you the need of a Redeemer. Have you by faith, embraced him and trusted him made to see that your salvation is alone in his redemptive work one day wonderful, wonderful song, the glory of God.

God reveals his existence and his power in the heavens themselves.

The handiwork of God, as Charles Spurgeon said God flies his starry flag to show that the king is at home. Next time you look into the heavens on the star field night. Just remember, the king is at home. The God who put the stars in their place is raining on high and that he reveals himself in his word.

What a blessing we have the word with all of the qualities that we have read about in the Psalm and then he reveals himself by his grace in our hearts is our strength in our Redeemer Isaac Watts who wrote so many wonderful hymns look one on this song the heavens declare the glory Lord in every star thy wisdom shine.

But when our eyes the whole byword we read thy name in fire line, sun, moon and stars convey thy praise around the whole earth, and never stand so when back truth begun its race.

It touched and blanched on every land north child by spreading the gospel rest still through the world back truth has run to Christ as all the nations blessed to see the light or feel the sun great Sun of righteousness arise, bless the dark world with heavenly light.gospel makes the simple wives by loans are pure thy judgments right by noblest wonders. Here we view insoles removed and sins forgiven Lord cleanse my sins my soul renew and make byword my guide to heaven.

Yes, the glory of God is beautifully revealed in this if you come to rest in Christ as your Savior and never confessed to father them in baptism, the opportunity is given you to come forward as we stand.
