Europe lied a lot done and read every overtime win every game. Our local experts cover the biggest stories around your team every day on your favorite MLB on the ever you want… Network your team everything I had no idea there was also appropriate for Dean Campbell and the Detroit Lions. You got to lose your mind in rock city.

He starts one of his locker room meetings, or start one of his addresses to the team with. I promise you I'm not a lunatic. Oh so good that the only thing I would suggest producer J we could possibly add him saying I'm not a lunatic.

I promise I'm not a lunatic.

I still have the outline of my Adobe's like that was amazing. I loved it just felt like the only thing it was missing is Dean Campbell promising is not a lunatic, even as he talks about biting kneecaps and everything else. And yet, do you not feel like Aiden Hutchinson is perfect for him. Wait know something's okay why are you giving me that look I feel like he Aiden Hutchinson. He's crazy to you what I think earlier you give me a look and I thought she would I get his name wrong. You know that number two overall pick right lines or so boxes get a wiry looking at me like that. Then oh okay so anyway, going back to aid in the fact that he's he's a little bit crazy to use this unbelievable motor but he's also kinda crazy fine people in life that you're kinda crazy.

If Dean Campbell can surround himself with a bunch of other people that speak his language and that are his kinda crazy like Aiden perfect work you got have people that buy-in is after hours with Amy Lawrence on CBS sports radio. It is the home show middle show of the workweek producer J give me weird looks picks up. I was looking for my folder sounded, not that you don't know where it is because zeros is an idiot. I say stupid crap all the time you don't know that's ever happened before.

You never anything weird about about ever okay well please. We delete that for the podcast just like from the record before other shows, get a hold of it. So the weird looks were coming from the other others out of the double pane glass which threw me off course, I think, is that when J give me weird looks. I think I just said something wrong know you were just getting a weird look to the computer you're giving weird lakes to the computer was really looking oh heavens, if that ever happens.

I'm out of here right so there's no really solid and so will show or my dignity. There are both completely gone. I have none. I learned a long time ago. This business that you might as well just learn to laugh yourself because really there's no dignity left after 20 hours of live radio per week, especially when you're working over and we are live from the rocket mortgage Studios do need to know what it takes for a home to fit your budget and your family rock you can find it on Twitter after hours. CBS no, I don't hear comments in the gallery. I know that what I said was highly appropriate and probably someone needs to call HR you can also find us on Facebook and send your questions were asked Amy anything Jay did indicate that he's not thrilled with the question.

So far, so if you would send your creative and unique questions you would probably move to the front of the class and also get weird looks from producers looks all-around weird people mess up talk, but it's more about the is or I do know I'm the only one who manages to sub in the worst word that the most inappropriate times or just make them up so you know what else talk because my talent can distract you all know is you object that is Mike Tomlin's quarterback along. Okay, not that long. It was a month but it was a lot of sounded very demanding a change at QB. And here is the head coach of the Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback position.

We made a change in game will start this week and I just want to talk about that change. Obviously, Mitch's performance was a component of the decision, but not the only component of the decision that I just want to be really clear there are often times quarterback position gets too much credit.

Let's blame yeah we haven't moved the ball fluently enough to our liking. We had put enough points on the board. Quarterback is a component of that but not the only component we all got absorbed the responsibility that comes with what we are what we haven't done particular net phase include myself and start with myself, and so on, and you make a quarterback change is really sensitive to that component of it because I don't want to dump the responsibility of what transpired at Mitch's feet. That's not fair to him. He's played better than that description but we have sown an effort to be better in an effort to score more points in an effort to move the ball more fluidly, we decided to go to any hopes that he will provide a spark for us. You know, we felt that not only in terms of our ability to move the ball but just in terms of energy and so hopefully that's a catalyst for us as we try to move forward and change the outcomes of these games man the idea and yes Ms. Stravinsky has a ceiling know not going back to the days of the Bears. The key learned a lot with the Buffalo Bills. In fact, they probably are going to rely on him for some insight and some Intel coming up this weekend when the Steelers play in Orchard Park but the idea that there's more energy. There's more bodies just people are engaged a little more and I don't mean fans, I mean the guys on the field for whatever reason. Sometimes you can make a change like that and there's hope, which generates more energy and guys are willing to try a little harder work a little harder to dig a little deeper to see if okay, maybe with this guy. Maybe with this change. Now we can start to move forward. It's after hours with Amy Lawrence here on CBS sports radio Kenny Pickett with two rushing touchdowns and three interceptions in his first NFL football so what about Kenny moving forward. We have no reservations about what is capable of our schematics. Obviously we have a little concerned about their bandit would take them into but you little concern about any quarterback that you take into that environment versus that defense in that venue and so that's a component of it, but not a significant component of it outside the usual. In terms of respecting it. Sonos maturity at every point throughout this process is older than most rookies fluent in quick decision-making control, like anticipation and things of that nature have proven to be true.

That's why we were talking. We were given the opportunity to do so. I prays for rookie quarterback that we didn't take a lot of snaps with the first team during the preseason, or during training camp because it was Mitch's job but they're going to get them up to speed as much as they possibly can and welcome to the NFL rookie into Orchard Park.

You go component they body slam tables for fun man Steelers spells game to watch coming up this weekend and the Dallas Cowboys you ever is worth watching, but certainly the fact that they are three and wine despite losing their starting QB on opening weekend. Jerry Jones doing his weekly appearance on our Dallas affiliate 1053 the fan.

What is the latest on deck and injury will know better known going to go out there and make progress toward being a good grip the ball. I don't know that you better lose and all loaded bonding feeling so is he able to grip the football now know not well enough to play Jerry Jones is acknowledging to Sean and RJ on 1053 the sand that cannot grip the football well enough to play the moment and so that should indicate he's not going to be starting, we can number five, however, the fact that the Cowboys haven't lost since Jack Prescott had to have that surgery that surgery Jerry did you actually believe your team would be three and one after he got injured. We were all the chance to go in to get closer to the playoff list on. I have not done that. In fact, don't look now, but the East has the best collective record in football. According to Mike McCarthy Prescott was still dealing with some swelling in that some joint and you hear Jerry saying he's not gripping the football yet had the surgery on September 12, but the fact were even talking about him returning to the field I is impressive so on. The Cowboys go and Cooper rushes got to be having the time of his life. I really playing with house money for the Cowboys are on the road at the Rams this weekend.

Wonder if Aaron Donnell will have something to say about that staying in the end of the East.

Daniel Jones was out of the game for a time with the Giants Bears in week four, because of an ankle injury number. He had two rushing touchdowns before the ankle injury and bring them back to relay play that also lined up as a wide receiver Wednesday, Barclay was in the wildcat.

He was clearly hurting Sukkot today ball. What about order back as is to actually is strained fractures. You know you she's fine. I regards you got an ankle sprain.

Yeah like to get into the specifics of key hat and ankle rights to get page of the bill Bella textbook really most coaches would like to keep that information close to the best but that was a unique and amusing way of doing it. I don't think anybody was fooled know yet about Daniel Jones that we do know that the Giants are in London to take on the Packers coming up on Sunday morning after hours on CBS sports radio Russell Wilson and the Denver Broncos. Their offense has sputtered, been highly inconsistent, even in those moments where he has shown flashes of the Seattle Russell Wilson so what would mark progress for the Denver Broncos as they would kick off on Thursday night football against the cult when it is all rude. That's all really matters is I think Gunther downgraded the red zone than the day before the peasant cleats went. I think everything has a history of its own. You know you can worry about all the things ahead.

What I do know that a lot of teams are tuned to slot teams have full teams of 31 and the right strike and just government what we want show will go good.

It is pretty amazing that there is only one team with no losses. Every team has at least one when the divisions are all jumbled up. Now it's only been a month, so it's hard to create a ton of separation a month but a lot of people pointing to the fact that teams are very closely clumped together when it comes to their abilities, their talent, but also the fact that no one's really shown a ton of consistency.

Through the first month. Now it's the colts who are surprising a lot of people because they bring in Matt Ryan, who yet turn over issue. The last couple of years, but Phyllis played really well and with the offense of line with Jonathan Taylor, with that cold defense.

It's not going the way that a lot of people would've anticipated so Matt still adjusting to a new offense in Indy and adjustment of learning new verbiage. I like to know when you're learning Spanish or whatever when you know you're in high-scoring school. You know what you want to say and sometimes just can't help but feel like stuff. Here's the job just without a pretty good first couple weeks and knowing known going skiing and knowing the terminology in the verbiage that out pretty fair. Matt Ryan turnovers led to apparent Tennessee touchdowns in their game at home against the Titans last week and then Jonathan Taylor has a fumble as well.

He's dealing with the bulking me.

I think it is right.

Well I better not be the verbiage that's holding them back to clean it up and then you find a rhythm and obviously I think the more Jonathan Taylor the better and less he is banged up that your Thursday night matchup try to get excited cold and Broncos on Amazon prime after hours here on CBS sports radio. We talked about it with Armando Salgado the number one nut headline still coming out of week 42 was how that scary moment where he had a concussion against the Bengals and was lying on the field for all the world to see and even Tom Brady was talking about concussions. Indiana fell on his let's go podcast this week. I think concussions are part of context words and I think your watch. No boxing or what you see were knocked out quite a bit so you know it's part of planned use of their physical sports and all of them come with risks associated with it and I think when you're an athlete that chooses to do not understand this part of it just like you could injure other parts of your body as well so you know I think my you are is always Jim, you know, an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure. Want to do your best you could do to try to be really proactive with your health to make sure that you do get injured you can recover as quickly as possible and get your body in the best position possible to give it the best nutrition possible to your with whatever trauma you come into contact with one of my questions is whether or not the NFL concussion protocols need to change.

Do they need to revisit or upgrade should there be an automatic mandatory. In which a player has to set out all of these are questions I'm sure the NFL and the players Association are dealing with and investigating regular basis, but even more now, in light of what happened with two so what about it. Tom, I think those are all being evaluated. No doubt, but at the same time, you know, I think that again I think so much his focus kind of on the aftermath of that, I think, what can we do in advance in order to help us athletes be in a position where we can deal with the physical elements of sport to take them out of sports. That's just not the route. If you want to play to have such football is not a lot of people that tune in no concussions through these most athletes would probably rather concussion than you with a knee injury and also there's going to be me and ankle injuries, concussions, shoulder injuries, I think that we all kind of jumped to use thoughts and conclusions in a short period of time, but same time. This is just what sports are you about actually have heard that from football players. They would rather deal with a concussion and a head injury even though there's a lot of uncertainty around it. Then they would deal with a knee injury and ACL that takes about four year, potentially one more.

This is so that was Tom Brady's let's go podcast on Sirius XM, this is Aaron Rodgers who makes his weekly appearance. Now on the Pat McAfee show and a lot of people talking about the mutual admiration society that features he and Bill Belichick and they shared in the game this past weekend. There was no start coaching long before he was on this incredible success just curb the word is with his styles and innovation. Now it's just a fantastic princess. The coach also the curve on what is the legendary for decades now.

I really appreciate it was him coming over again. He was ahead of the curve with media the way he handles media as legendary course players think that but I highly doubt that the majority of media members themselves would think the hedge in fact, I do see anything here.

A lot of my former colleagues and coworkers in New England media complaining about Bill Belichick.

I mean, he's cantankerous, that's for sure was too good can't be is way better than we are ho-hum.

You're all right you got a few minutes left to send your questions or ask Amy anything but you are up to date with the QB news is week five is on the horizon. You can find us on our show Twitter after hours. CBS did we share the video of the dog catching the home run ball okay Jason you are right now.

So if you don't want to go and send questions to ask Amy will definitely go and check out the golden retriever who came up with a home run ball and was clearly not going to relinquish it and then while you're there created unique interesting questions that do not revolve around me coming up with a Super Bowl prediction.

Still a couple minutes left for you to vote for TD of the week all about available on our social think so much for hanging out with us, shall middle shell of the workweek where no one's looking anyone. It's after hours with Amy something a lot done and every overtime win every game.

CBS sports radio you are listening to the after-hours podcast after hours with Lawrence. Once the two of us. Is this 161st St., 67, 112 so this finds ways to make plays a game of me big time third-down time goal line plays will and our team will will and the windows are ultimately like every time I look up at the network that highlight is being replayed. You can't get enough of it. Whether it's an angle behind the end zone where Patrick Holmes is coming right you with that jump pass/push path to glide Edward the layer in the back of the end zone. It was the most awkward looking thing and yet it's so normal for most homes been moved to on the sideline.

If you did your conversation with Buck's sideline reporter TJ Reeves from Monday night Sunday night Sunday night right Sunday night, then you have to go back and listen because I asked him his perspective on that play and Holmes actually rushing toward him so scrambling, coming toward the right sideline.

If you're looking at the end zone from behind the Chiefs line of scrimmage. So he scrambling to the right and that's exactly where TJ was posted up and he actually started to move out of the way because he assumed that there would be a tackle at that moment, and maybe some of the other defenders about defenders would end up off the field of play and he would be in the wagon, potentially get taken out three starts to back up and then watches with his jaw open homes would be grasp of the tackler and ends up with that push path toward the back of the end zone where Clyde is waiting to get really cool stuff all of our guests and our conversations, our interviews are posted separately on our podcast after hours Amy Lawrence.com people still ask me and every single day podcast can elicit your show somewhere else and I don't catch a live. Of course you can.

We aim to please. We are a full-service operation. We know the major-league baseball matchups now moving forward into wildcard we can. We do not know the times, but we know the matchups. Aaron judge making history in the penultimate game of the regular season the Braves to win yet another National League East title and of course we've got plenty from the football world, but I hope you don't mind. And even if you do, I suppose that you'll get over it.

We always veer off the beaten path a little bit this time of the week as part of the home shall we give you a chance to ask Amy anything is the longest running franchise here in after hours going back to year number two. We are now in year number 10 and you will still love it if you still send questions that it's been let's say Tom Tom Anthony Isaac, Dave, Chris J – eight, eight or nine producers who had the opportunity to field the questions pick the questions and then asked the questions and let me just be honest there were plenty of those guys who felt like the segment was about them because they got to speak up one guy actually thought that he should answer every question that was that he was asking me that he should then answer it as well so it's it's been me. That pretty much is the way producers get cycled out now and I'm just kidding, but it's been a lot of producers and still just one Amy and so we continue to do it because you continue to ask the questions we present that complements left J still, he's rubbing the hair on his chin. Each engine he's still looking for questions.

So after hours CBS on Twitter or on our Facebook page show.

My eyes are still open. It's just been one of those weeks are all one of those weeks that I was just something a lot a lot done and every overtime win every game. Local experts covered think stories around your team every day on your favorite MLB… Network your team. You are listening to the after-hours podcast after hours with Lawrence time to asking anything sort of years remaining guy for any type of commercial or add or campaign. Every time I looked up different commercial amazing the staying power-a lot to actually become 60s and he's not shy about things they did with 60s and he had felt them still very relevant for a lot of other NFL players or even proactively lose their attractiveness after it's been a generation of people who didn't even play those two guys are still very relevant and doing a lot of different projects that allow different media gigs. I don't know why I looked up and saw Peyton Manning.

I got the newcomers I've seen before Mees got all kinds of new ventures like Peyton and Eli on Monday night please got his own production company where he tells a bunch of different stuff like Pat McAfee is soon to be doing college football on Saturday night, stream of consciousness after hours here on CBS sports radio that's the question that really doesn't have an answer but I'm hoping to give you the answers for the questions that you have posed to producer Jay for asking about him that is good and all these things we see all of the plays we just really seem to get old. He's always that's really good about now is a great personal holdings in his 40s old just like you doesn't get old.

As in, like, I'm not tired of joy when I so Aaron judge's 62nd home run last night and David wants to know if you caught George's 62nd home on what would you do I would get back from I would ask for something in exchange memorabilia. Certainly a photo to commemorate the night that I was there and caught the ball but I don't see it as my baseball and I know Aaron judge said the fans ball. It is souvenir.

He thought he caught he made a great catch. I appreciate his generosity when it comes that thing out of it like it back in my opinion, that ball belongs to him or belongs to the baseball Hall of Fame. It does not belong to me.

I just got to be part of the story. My story and it's not my baseball so much as I get it.

People can make an impact this guy Cory who caught it. He said he's already received an offer for $2 million for life. I understand it just luck of the draw that you happen to be right place right time. I couldn't keep it for that photo. Maybe something else memorabilia made it sound like you dreaming about all give you the ball but not my baseball, I would feel right keeping it your Mike wants to know if you can get an autograph from one athlete celebrity or public figure and autograph.

Can we change that picture okay picture okay so if I get a picture I would say one of my favorites are artists of all time is to McGraw been to over a dozen to McGraw concert and I he's awesome. So if I get a picture with to McGraw that be amazing to be able to meet him. Tom Hanks my all time favorite actor Denzel Washington.

A pretty close second shoe is my favorite actor and from what I was growing up and watch karate kid three times and she was most recently in CSI wasn't that long ago my favorite lab. There's an so hard for me to set aside the work. Part of it and and think about the fan but I will say that the last time was on radio row Von Miller was doing an interview at the booth next to where we reposted up and I took photos. I never do that but I was I was all fan girl and took photos right there and I couldn't believe I could've reached out and touched von Miller.

I was too intimidated to Haiti, but if I get a photo with you on Miller Curry. I believe that will be an amazing interview.

I don't need a photo with them. Curry necessarily but I'd love to have them on the show on Miller thing are we okay, I trust you I trust producer Jay when he tells me to do something were to try those of my mom would flip out if I got a photo and had a conversation with Chris Collinsworth so I suppose I should put them in there as well. But most of my like starstruck moments would have zero to do a sport that I don't even yeah I'm not. It's too hard after 27 years in the business to even think about being starstruck it is for this like like that part of my brain is gone. One thing I would love to meet them and have them on the shell, but that be what I would think about an interview not thoroughly a photo and I'm not an autograph person anyway. I have very few of them so that's not really my jam with the first time he asked me for an autograph. I laughed and the person's face fell and I felt so terrible year anyway, my God, you have a secret talent that most people would know about so many secret talent to list them on, then they will be secret anymore. They want you to help you my secret talent just to see if you have any idea of even paying attention that really think about yard work pretty good. I don't know what is funny after I shared the photos of the flowers. The fall flowers that a friend gave me there on Twitter and Facebook the photo if someone wrote to me that nice landscaping landscaping.

Yeah me with a lawnmower and a pair of gloves or pulling weeds that the waved a big right there always a shovel to dig a hole first in the wrong place and that in the right place for lilacs. If you look at the background of the photo that I shared Lila is growing strong my lilac.

She's sturdy and rooted and getting taller just very excited secret talent.

In other words, if you don't know them there secret. I have no what you could throw Frisbee better than most people I've ever that's true true true. I do an arm I can play frisbee I could throw ball he damn well I'll go with this one. I can also play piano. I played piano for decades and people maybe don't realize that I don't talk about it a lot. I have a piano it's the same kind of you know that I grew up playing at its even when I go months without playing it can sometimes I just don't have the time to set the person that can sit down play for two minutes to get up and leave. It's a very emotional experience for me because it just means so much to me that attachment to my mom who's played for 60 something years. If an attachment to my childhood.

I love you sick and so I can't just sit down and play. I generally play until my butt hurt. That's how long I play anywhere I can go for months without it and still look at my piano and just be so full of joy that is in my house so all three play piano also look see what else you if I hear anymore they're not secret to keep them to myself wow people and keep them to myself, course boom, asks are there any recipes that have been passed down through the generations in your family have you pass them to anyone outside your family or the close regards, there is one couple in particular that I absolutely love I wouldn't say there anything amazing, but we really enjoy them in my family.

One of them is a soup that we call Venus tomato soup if you remember a couple weeks ago I mentioned at the secret ingredient and I will not tell anyone how we make the got some of your standard ingredients like ground beef, tons of vegetables potato my mom gets really mad when I put sweet potato and she thinks it changes the taste I have an 11 but there is one secret ingredient garlic it's onion it's chicken broth. But there's one secret ingredient that gives the but I don't tell anyone, so that degree that actually sees me that the passed down from my grandmother to my mom and when I first was learning how to cook.

I was so resistant. I refuse to learn how to cook time is 30 but mostly I could cook was popped up boil water. I just I hated the thought of cooking, but this is one of the first recipes. My mom passed down another recipe that we have in our family that ultimate passed out. My grandmother stroganoff stroganoff is oh so good.

We have a special stroganoff that we do with cream of mushroom soup.

It is amazing and so that's another one I don't eat a lot of egg noodles. These days, but I do love our stroganoff sippy coconut cream pie. My grandmother used to make it for me on all of my special occasions birthday. Specifically, it's my favorite dessert of all time and her recipes been passed down. I know I did.

It was a different recipe, but I did make a coconut cream pie make it for you coconut cream pie just for J know what is your second show or series after O: absolutely. It is the Star Wars universe is one I can get lost in trying to pull a Star Wars room or a Star Wars part of its universe. I might actually to reconsider that meta-is the devil. Okay, let's say favorite TV show or series or movie. I love Lord of the rain having gotten into the new Amazon prime show yet. I don't know if I'll like it.

I just I like the original Lord of the rings.

I love Aragorn, my gosh, I can design a man to marry. It would be Erica Martin off some even take his long hair that's how impressed I am with him. Why, I also really love this but I really love the Chicago series of Chicago PD Chicago fire big into the crime drama. Those are those are some of the ones that I enjoy your favorite now going on six seasons.

Favorite TV show seal team amazing okay got to know what would you do with survivor Wayne Christian remote area like on the TV show lost just like them. Yeah, what would I do only survivor of a plane crash in a remote area well I guess I would figure out how to start eating bugs and what they had to kill a shower fighter in the shower this week and I didn't kill with, so I actually put my hand that they're not screaming about that what what I figure out how to make a fire and then I would figure out how to debug and then I would find the nearest cell phone tower is gotta be when there's their cell phone towers everywhere.

Okay thank thank you swimming just keep swimming far close, tulips or sunflowers to look history or science fiction, history, much of thy love Star Wars and that will be called science fiction. I'm a history buff, stuffed crust pizza or normal normal, leaving thin crust that gives away.J proclivity thin crust girl chicken fingers chicken fingers analog or digital.

I mean I wish we go back to analog when we used to splice tape but now digital obviously makes life a lot easier live in 1969 or 2006 have a lightsaber right now I'm good in 2022.

I refuse to answer that is after hours with Amy Lawrence CBS sports radio something in your up line a lot done and read every overtime win every game.
