A graduate of The Master's Seminary, Carey served from 1993 until 2006 on the pastoral staff at Grace Community Church in the Los Angeles area. In addition to his role as Senior Executive Pastor and Personal Assistant to John MacArthur, Carey was an adjunct professor at The Master's College and Seminary. Carey presently serves as Pastor-Teacher at Twin City Bible Church in Winston-Salem, NC, is an adjunct professor at Shepherds Theological Seminary in Cary, NC, and is pursuing a DMin at Reformed Theological Seminary.
